Platonic Partners

Can men and women just be friends? The theory is that men and women cannot truly be just friends. There is always the lingering sexual tension. Jealousy plagues the significant other when a man or woman befriends the opposite sex. Platonic love does exist. It is a love that is based on a mutual respect for one another.
